DESCRIPTION:Namaste! It is with great pleasure that we announce the continuation of IAALV’s esteemed tradition of commemorating Indian Independence Day. We cordially invite you to join us at Allentown City Hall on August 15th\, 2025\, at 11:00 a.m. as we celebrate the 78th Indian Independence Day. This momentous occasion is an opportunity for us to come together and honor the nation’s rich heritage and history. India is a pluralistic\, multilingual\, multi-religious and multi-ethnic society. \n\n\n\nSince 1989\, The Mayor of City of Allentown has been by us on this day giving the Lehigh Valley Indian-Americans the privilege of hoisting the Indian flag at the Allentown City Hall.
