SECOND 2014 GREAT CLEAN-UP OF PENNSYLVANIA

Saturday, October 18 @ 9:00AM

Dear Esteemed Members of our Community:

IAALV represents “Composite India” in the Lehigh Valley and connects with many local organizations and people. Here is a great opportunity for us to actively participate in keeping Lehigh Valley litter free.

THIS IS AN ATTEMPT TO GATHER TOGETHER MEMBERS OF COMMUNITY for the Fall PA Cleaning efforts together with the LV Kannada Group’s initiative. This was a successful collaborative effort this past Spring and provides yet another great opportunity to all Lehigh Valley Indian-Americans to come together. On behalf of Lehigh Valley Indian-Americans, we have adopted the above mentioned highway intersection to be cleaned up.

“IAALV BRINGS SUBCOMMUNITIES FROM DIFFERENT REGIONS OR STATES IN INDIA TO COOPERATE AND WORK TOGETHER IN THE LEHIGH VALLEY –
A PLACE WE CALL OUR HOME – IN THIS ADOPTED COUNTRY OF OURS”

Please come forward – since together we can make a difference and demonstrate our relevance in the Valley.

If this date for the Highway Clean up suits your schedule kindly call or e-mail (Phone: 610-849-0002; E-mail: balarao37@gmail.com)
Prof. Balakrishna Rao at your earliest – he can then get materials from
Penn DOT for our community volunteers.

– Team IAALV

PS: Folks – It is indeed a moment of pride for IAALV and 5000 plus Lehigh Valley Indian-Americans that we have finally adopted a Highway Intersection for clean up. A relevant signage will be posted at the intersection soon. Thank you Prof. Rao and the LV Kannada Group for coming forward and joining hands with IAALV and we hope others sub will come forward too.
