IAALV Programs are open to public.  You don’t have to be a member to come to our programs. But, if you like what we do, you can certainly join us or you can show us your support. Please come, bring your family and friends. Socialize with you local community.

India Day – Aug 15

It is that time of the year, wherein we are proud to represent IAALV’s continued tradition of  celebrating Indian Independence Day congregation. We would like to invite you all for the live streaming of the 74th Indian Independence Day program on 15th of August 2020 at 10 am. Due to current pandemic and for the safety of our community at large, the event will be streamed live on Facebook. The live streaming will showcase the flag hoisting ceremony, followed by cultural celebration by local talented artists and kids.

Performers

Eashan Krishnamoorthy is a rising sophomore at Rutgers University. He initially started playing western saxophone at the age of 9 and found interest in Carnatic music at the age of 14. He won several prizes in Carnatic Classical Saxophone and has performed in various organizations like Brindavana, TFAS, Triveni, SKV, Brundavani, Maragahazi, in the tri state area and Bengaluru (India). He started learning under Vidwan Sridhar sagar, Eashan was extremely privileged to also learn under Late Dr. Padmasri Kadri Gopalnath. He’s also blessed to be learnign under the tutelage of sangeeta choodamani, Dr. Nagavalli Nagaraj and Smt. Suchitra Laxishma has been his guide in NJ.
